152.3 mph. 

A record that still stands for none electric traction.

N Gauge APT-E  /  TT120 Gauge APT-E

The N gauge and TT120 version of APT-E are taking shape, after a good number of re-design's the trains are startinmg to come together.

Corrections to the powercar lengths have been completed, and the bogies are now in the process of being checked over.

Edits to the powercar builds have also taken place, making them easier to assemble, and line up all the parts.

Roof needs a minor sizing change.

Currently the powercars are made from four sections,

Nose code, up to rear of cable bulkhead.

Lower, middle and roof sections for the rest of the powercars.

These are rough, none finished prototype parts.

N gauge APT-E re-design of the nose section to split it into two parts, make it a lot easier if you want to fit micro leds lights.

Testing a bi colour light fitting, white and red depending on direction.

Re-design on the Powercar side vents and pins/slots to make fitting together eaier.

Started work on trailer car designs.

Sadly, still looking for some correct sized powered bogies.

On a couple of power car prototypes, working out the best way to paint.

Minor progress on Lev1 and testrol also, but nothing really to show at the present time.

When the E train design is completed, I will get a couple of resin prototypes make to get an idea of cost.
